about me

I’m a school-based SLP with a specialty in AAC, but it didn’t start off that way. I’m a mama constantly amazed by my toddler’s above average language development, which I like to think is because of my inability to turn off being an SLP (and our massive collection of children’s books).

I’m married to my high school sweetheart who actually makes up the better half of Emily Diaz, SLP. Not just my last name, but literally all the pretty graphics and technical stuff you see.
